We never know where God’s path for us may lead. When the path leads through pain and injustice we must trust that God is wise and sovereign working in our lives for His glory and our good (Acts 23:11).

Have you seen dashcam video clips of semi-trucks driving along a wide open road being flipped onto their sides by strong crosswinds? The force of the wind overpowered the empty trucks and prevented them from successfully reaching their destination. Skilled truck drivers are aware of these dangers out on the road. The Lord’s will often directs us straight into severe personal danger (Acts 20:22-23; cf. Matthew 16:21; 20:28).
On a fairly regular basis I will have people knock on my door, give me a call, or contact me via some other form of marketing. Why are they contacting me? Why are they trying to get into my life? What is their motive in their interaction with me?
