Dear River Reach Family,
In Iconium they entered the synagogue of the Jews together, and spoke in such a manner that a large number of people believed, both of Jews and of Greeks.
Acts 14:1
Serving the Lord will lead you through a wide variety of experiences with recurring themes of difficulty and triumph through grace. In five of the six cities in which Acts records details of Paul and Barnabas’ witness for Christ on their first missionary journey, they face some kind of major opposition or set back. Amazingly they keep on faithfully serving their Lord! Their faithfulness provided a conduit through which the grace of God flowed to the lives of many people. What makes an effective servant of the Lord? Let’s observe the faithful ministry of Paul and Barnabas and trust God to work these same qualities in us as we serve Christ.

Fall Fun Fest on November 9th!
We are excited about another fun opportunity to serve the Lord together as a church by reaching out into our community! If you are able to help this year at Fall Fun Fest, please speak with Pastor Dan. We need as many people as possible to join us in serving on Saturday, October 19th. Flyers are available on the credenza in the lobby to invite your friends and neighbors!
Please pray that people will come and see the love and light of Christ in us!
River Reach T-shirt order
We are working to get everyone in our church a new T-shirt in time for Fall Fun Fest. We currently have most of the shirts available. If you have not yet received your shirt, please see Jen this Sunday. If you have received a shirt that is too small, please let us know by this Sunday. Due to an ordering miscommunication, we are planning to place an additional order on Monday, October 28th for additional shirts. We want everyone to have a shirt in the size they will be comfortable enough to wear!
Men and Boys Overnight Retreat November 10-11th
In a culture confused about manhood we want to take a opportunity to promote biblical manhood to the men and future men of our church! On Sunday afternoon, all men and boys are invited to join us at Josh’s property for a time of fun (camp fire, cookout, off-road vehicle riding, overnight camping) and biblical challenge (testimony and bible study). You may either join us just for Sunday afternoon and evening and return to the comfort of your own beds, or stay the night with us! We will have two RV’s with bathrooms, a few beds and floor space, or tents available. You are welcome to bring your own equipment or we will have plenty available if you are not personally equipped. Please let me know if you have any question or interest in joining us for this exciting event!
The God Who Hears book study continues this Sunday @ 6:00pm
