Making reproducing disciples of Jesus Christ

Divine Appointments – Acts 24:1-27

Dear River Reach Family,

But some days later Felix arrived with Drusilla, his wife who was a Jewess, and sent for Paul and heard him speak about faith in Christ Jesus.

Acts 24:24

We never know where God’s path for us may lead. When the path leads through pain and injustice we must trust that God is wise and sovereign working in our lives for His glory and our good (Acts 23:11). Our Lord directs the paths of faithful servants to unique opportunities to be a witness for Jesus Christ! We arrive at our sovereign Lord’s intended destination by walking in the Spirit and boldly living for Jesus Christ. If you are wondering what God is doing in directing you down an unknown road or obscure road in life, simply trust Him and obey. He is leading you to an opportunity to shine brightly as a witness for Him. In our passage for this Sunday, Paul arrives by military escort to Caesarea and stands trial before Felix the governor and his Jewish accusers. Even this development is an opportunity to be a witness for Jesus Christ!
