Making reproducing disciples of Jesus Christ

Pathway to Joy 1/25

Dear River Reach Family,

You will make known to me the path of life;
In Your presence is fullness of joy;
In Your right hand there are pleasures forever. ”

Psalm 16:11

Every human being wants to be happy. We make choices and pursue life trajectories that promise the most happiness. No one pursues intentional emptiness, emotional distress, and sadness. Trials and struggles in life present real obstacles to joy! In order to maintain joy, the source of your joy must be more robust and capable than your troubles. In Psalm 16, the psalmist meditates on his life and his hope in the Lord as his source of joy. He testifies to us concerning the Lord’s supreme ability to sustain life long and eternal joy (Psalm 16:9, 11)! This Sunday we will listen as God’s Word unveils for us the pathway to joy.
