Making reproducing disciples of Jesus Christ

Resurrection Sunday / River Reach News 4/14

Dear River Reach Family,

The angel said to the women, “Do not be afraid; for I know that you are looking for Jesus who has been crucified. 6 “He is not here, for He has risen, just as He said. Come, see the place where He was lying.” Matthew 28:5-6

Easter Sunday Morning 4/16: Resurrection Celebration!

We are accustomed to uncertainty in our world.  Gas prices are currently climbing at the pump because peace in oil producing countries is uncertain.  Travel plans are always uncertain (you may be dragged off the airplane, car might breakdown, etc).  Relationships are always uncertain due to the sin nature.  Life is uncertain.  We do our best to mitigate uncertainty.  We buy insurance, diversify our investments, or develop a plan B.  God wants you to be absolutely certain in your relationship with Him through His Son Jesus Christ.  He removed all doubt by proving the authenticity of His Son by raising Him from the dead (Acts 5:30).  This Easter Sunday as we celebrate the resurrection of our Savior, we will consider the case for the resurrection of Christ and what it means for us.

Sermon: “Our Living Hope” 1 Peter 1:1-9
