Making reproducing disciples of Jesus Christ

Reopening this Sunday morning at 10:30am!

Dear River Reach Family,

Praise the LORD!
Oh give thanks to the LORD, for He is good;
For His lovingkindness is everlasting!

Psalm 106:1

With gratitude in our hearts to the Lord for His mercy to us during this Covid-19 pandemic, we are excited to announce that we will begin a phased reopening of our in person services! This Sunday, May 17th, we plan to hold our morning worship service at the building and on Zoom at 10:30am. It is our desire to work toward returning to in person fellowship as our Lord allows (Hebrews 10:24-25). On Wednesday evening we discussed our God-given mission and the importance of “one another” fellowship and service in person. Due to the varying degrees of present coronavirus risk it is our desire to give each of you the personal responsibility and freedom to choose what is best for you and your family.

Two Worship Options:

In Person Worship: We invite those who feel comfortable to join us in person this Sunday at 10:30am for our morning worship service. Feel free to remain socially distant and take whatever precautions you deem necessary.

Zoom Online Meeting: We plan to continue broadcasting our in person meeting to our regular Zoom online meeting places for those who are unable to join us in person. Zoom Meeting Link: https://zoom.us/j/360308233

We value each person who desires to join us in any fashion and want to do our best to minister God’s Word and grace to all!

The Gift of the Holy Spirit – Acts 19:1-7

Life can feel overwhelming. When you add on the expectations of Christlikeness, spiritual fruit, loving and serving others, and being a witness for Jesus Christ, we find ourselves woefully inadequate! Our Lord knew we would never be able to succeed in His mission for us in our own strength. In fact He specifically instructed His disciples to not even think about trying to carry out their mission until He sent them the Holy Spirit (Acts 1:4-5). To be successful as witnesses for our Lord, we need the power of God Himself at work in us through the person of the indwelling Holy Spirit. Too often I forget about the power of God at work in me through His Spirit. Our passage for this Sunday reminds us that God has given each of His children the gift of the Holy Spirit. Through the power of the Holy Spirit we can be successful in bringing glory to our Lord.
