Dear River Reach Family,
Now may the God of peace Himself sanctify you entirely; and may your spirit and soul and body be preserved complete, without blame at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. 24 Faithful is He who calls you, and He also will bring it to pass.” 1 Thessalonians 5:23-24
This past week we watched hurricane Michael unleash Category 4+ devastation on the panhandle of our state. 100+ mph winds lifted whole houses off their foundations and rolled them down the street. Most of Mexico Beach, FL is bare foundations and massive piles of debris. The residents in the path of the hurricane did what they could to find the most peaceful place available to them to ride out the oncoming disaster. Sadly as the storm rolled through many people found their homes and lives devastated. Every human being craves for peace in their lives. Sin and the curse of sin on our world rips through every life like an unconcerned hurricane leaving in its path massive destruction. Is there any way to find peace in this life? Though many philosophies and pursuits in life offer shelter and protection for our hearts and souls, God’s Word reveals the single source of lasting peace and safety. Only God can supply true peace to every part of our lives! This Sunday morning we will turn our attention and our hearts to our God of peace!

Fall Fun Fest tomorrow!
Fall Fun Fest is a unique opportunity for us to come together as a church to reflect the love and hope of Jesus Christ to our community. Lord willing, we anticipate large numbers of people coming onto our church property to enjoy a wide variety of games, bounce houses, a fire truck, free lunch, and a good time!
We need your help! Thank you to so many of you who have volunteered to help run this event. Most of the jobs are simple but important.
Fall Fun Fest Schedule: Saturday, October 13th
- 8:30-9:00am Setup and preparation
- 10:15am – Lunch together
- 11:00-2:00pm – Official Event hours
- 2:00-2:30 – tear down and clean up
We understand if you are not able to help for the entire time, but would appreciate any help you are able to offer!
Please pray that the Lord will enable us to show His love and point people to Jesus Christ! Praise the Lord for a beautiful weather forecast!

Assignment: Complete Chapter 2: Biblical Change in “The Walk” book. Be prepared to discuss what you learned!
